Can't log into the game? Getting a message that hangs you at "logging in to server"? Have patched on or after the 22nd? You most likely overwrote your eqmain.dll file and need a prior version.

System restore to yesterday... I figure whatever it is had something to do with when I connected to the live server.... just rolled back my system to yesterday.

If you patched today (6-22 ) there was a minor update and got a new eqmain.dll, could be your reason. /shrug

You will need someone to give you the old .dll I suppose... I don't think you can ask for it here though, but maybe if you supplied e-contact info someone would be nice enough to give it to you or contact you otherwise.

Its not being hosted on the site and nobody is redirecting these people to that site. I am not promoting the distribution of the file, I am telling them that if they need the file to send me a private message with thier off site email, perhaps I am giving them a fix or directions for a fix?

I have responded to the remaining messages I have recieved and you all should be equiped to fix your own problem from here. If you missed the file, I'm sorry. Read the forums, there is a post which you should have read by now posted by Virus telling you to NOT patch to live.
For those of you who did not follow instructions to both not patch to live or read my instructions to send me a PM and NOT ask for the file, well... maybe you should learn to follow directions, the truth is, now you will be SOL until there is a patch.

I dont think anyone will be sending that .dll anymore, ive asked a few people and no reply, its against their warez policy thingy, so yahi guess were going to have to stick it out for a while until next patch comes out which is extremely saddening

alrighty guys, if you have patched to EQLive and are doing so in order to play the DR6 servers then go to http://scorpious2k.2ya.com at the top of the homne page there is a banner there click it and follow the instructions. im playing DR6 now so maybe it will solve your issues. also, its ALWAYS a good idea to make a new EQEMu folder whenever yer trying something new out, this way, if the "new" idea doesnt work, you still have a working Emu folder.
