Please excuse me if I am posting in the wrong section, I truly do not intend to seem like a newb or mean to violate any posting rules.

I have recently decided to delve into the world of Eq Emulation. So, I checked out all the information I could and created an account. I successfully created a new screen name and password and received the message that the account had been created successfully.

However, now when I try to log in to eqgame.exe pachme, click logon, type in the new username and password, I get an error message saying: "eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and must close."

I have tried two different eqhost.txt's that I've seen on the forum posts here.

Please help as I am excited to start diving into the eqemu world.

Thanks,

Numadin

My situation doesn't say anything about bad username/password, it acts as though it's going to try and connect, but instead it locks up with the error message with the only option being close.

I hope someone can resolve this quickly. I am able to connect to eqlive still, it's just eqemu that won't let me log in.

You cant since that new patch broke eqemu...look at the post thats titled stop waiting for the devs to fix the main.dll and follow the instructions there
