AC and ATK bug

I am not sure when it happened, but both my AC and my Atk are showing up to be really low. At level 95 my atk shows to be under 1000, and I can remember back when I was 65 it was almost 1600. My AC dropped at the same time I believe.


I was told to post here by a GM, please help. :D

Also , since it seems related. People on my server complain that after 50 their attack and ac do not raise, although their other stats do.

Perhaps they even begin to lower as they get higher lvl as this person here mentions. I am not sure on that one.

Scorpious2k server is code custom, maybe scorp doesnt have update formula for AC/ATK after lvl65 -which i doubt-

Our server is stock emu code. and have the above described issue. =)

I'd say it's reasonable to say that the EQ client does not have support for levels 66+, and thus you won't see any increases or even decreases as you level past 65.

but as far as the original poster ya. that's reasonable. Nothing is programmed to raise stats after 65

The client never shows your actual AC and attack anyway because it uses a different formula than the server does. If it lowers them after 65 I can garuntee that the server does not, it may not increase but it does not lower, but the only way to see that is with the #showstats command.

Theres no way to look at it. The client messes up after 65. Only sony can change it and why would they? And the servers formula is a guess that tries to be the same as the client but since we don't know the formula the client uses its always a little or a lot different.

As i read through these posts i see Sot asking a question about 5 times and each answer that is given is 65+

Im Marimuani on Sot's server and im lvl 55 War, since 50 my ac and atk havent risen, I like Sot would like to know if the emu will be able to get it coded or whoever else is responsible for it.

If Scorpion2K (legends server) can have it coded to 65, what the hell is going on with our server?

P/S Ill post this in another topic also but, when i logged into the eq emu only 1 server comes up and its down, is emu down for coding or is my emu dead? (Could be a virus also).

Scorpious2k has a lot of custom code. But if he indeed has it working i would very much hope that he'd share that portion of the code in #developers to help eqemu advance.

Scorp has a formula for AC and attack up to level 130 and it works fine. BUt just like on everyone's server the client displays it wrong because there is nothing he can do about that.
