Servers gone suddenly?

Ive been playin just find for the last three days then all of a sudden I do a #zone and get dropped I get back to the server select screen and every server is gone except for GW which is down and no matter how many times I restart eq completely all thats there is GW. The main page here says its up with 6 servers and 130 some odd ppl wtf?

Same thing has been happing to me...It has to be a bug in the EQemu files...Hope they get if fixed soon

Well its happing to more and more people...everyone might not be able to play...Oh yeah why is GW all ways down, i thought that server was long gone...I should me knocked off the list if it is gone...Any way lets hope they fix this. :x

oddly enough the EMU home page shows 128 players and 6 servers up currently.
so whats the deal with the log in then?

The login server got bugged. It happens a lot and will get rebooted soon enough. The reason Guildwars is always on the list as down is because the person who wrote the login server ran guildwars and hard coded it to always display regardless of whether it was conencted or not.

I agree. A MiniLogin would be amazing for days like this. Someone must be able to write it. From what i've seen on other posts is that someone has to recreate what the EQlive login is doing with packet sending and receiving. But when i think of it EQEmulator is doing this eqemulator.net which we all connect to. They seem to be doing it perfectly. :shock:

The main site just showed 0 players, 2 servers up. Then when I checked back in 15 minutes or so it said 56 players, 5 servers. I figured that meant they'd just rebooted login, but I still only see GW server. :(

Hopefully it'll be working by the time I get off work. I wanted to get level 130 on scorp today!

I think they know it is bugged but, they dont want to restart becuse there is like 80 people that can play and like 20 of us that cant, just wait more people will get bugged then they will realized then need to restart the thing. :roll:

Its not bugged for everyone I think its somethin that happens at login and once it happens YOUR login is fuxx0red until its restarted. Like some kinda bool or somethin that shouldnt be set is set and never unset or similiar and requires the login server to be reset to correct it. I have no idea this is the first Ive heard of it and the first time its ever happened to me. Is there any talk of it on the irc channels?

Maybe if they fixed the fast login we could still play even when bugged. Cause my last server played on shows up in the window I just cant get to it. =/

I don't beleave anyone can play because when you refresh the main site page www.eqemulator.net it says 0 players and 2 servers. Thats a bug on there end not ours i'd say and if there was a bug on our end i'd think that someone would see this long string of posts and reply saying they can play :)
