Seriously though , I reckon they must have seen it on telly. Did they not realise all the emergency medical staff nearby, and also the special suit thingy the people who set themselves on fire wear?

The poor guy who was on fire must have been terrified. Imagine have your shirt covered in "gasoline" (Damn American words.. it's Petrol damn you!) then setting it alight. Poor guy must have thought he was gunna burn to death. :(
