Well for the past 2 days I have been trying my best to get this working. Everytime I figure 1 thing out, 2 more problems pop up. Seems like you go searching for a FAQ or help in the tutorials you end up finding 3 articles all with different information. Have 1 telling you to use this port, another with that one, etc. At this point my problems now are:
-nobody but me can log into my server. My friend, who plays eqemu servers frequently, tries to log into my server and is kicked to login screen. I can get into it just fine.
-Can't figure out how to create nothing. Right now I got a empty server with nothing but items in the database. I am wanting to make custom mobs, but no idea how.
EDIT
If anybody else wants to try to log into my server the name is Fronglo's Paradise.
-Can't figure out how to make custom items. Try useing the itemeditor with the program, but it don't work right for me. I can't change a item, or create a new one. Either way it just erases the changes I made immediately.
I haven't even attempted to start any type of a quest, looks like I gotta go download yet another program to even make a quest (Perl right?).
Its not that I don't want to learn, I am truely trying my best. I know im not the smartest person in the world, but I like to consider myself fairly knowledgeable about PC's. Just seems like every faq, or help file on here leaves me asking more questions.
