Problem connecting with DR6 servers

I can connect to DR4 servers but not DR6. I tried to connect to my own but here's what it said from world.exe - Expecting OP_SendLoginInfo, got 250.

it looks like you flagged your account to have 250 status..? iono for sure i dont read opcodes, but if it is and thats why it sends you out, try setting your status to like 200 or 150 or so.

Where would I set the status at?

in Mysql, use Mysql Front and go to the accounts table, the on your account, go to the left until you find status, change it to 150 or so there.

I don't think that's the problem, it happens on all the servers I go to. The only server I can enter is a DR4 one.

Then are you sure your files arecompatible for DR 6? I dont think that if you can login to 1 version that you can login to the other

I used System Restore to take me back before I patched, and I created a new directory. Then I patched my normal everquest.

Edit: The error is that I click on a server to go to then it takes me back to the login screen.

The opcodes all got changed from DR4 to DR6. You cannot login to one if you can login to the other. You would have to patch the client to get on a different version, but if you patch to the latest version you wouldn't be able to play at all.

That would explain it. I'll need to make my server DR4 then.
