Is there any way to make your own server with the EQemu and make it work with a up to date clinet or do i have to find another emulater that work???

First i shouldn't even help you becuase your sig picture is sick and wrong. although i am sure your opinion toward women is probably reflected in it, and as such you will remain single, or maybe find a dog to fall in love with.

As for a working emulatER, you can go search all you like my friend, there are only two emulatERs that work and one of them lost all its support a few months ago. that one being the HQ emulatER.

It takes time to fix the stuff SOE does to the client, right now the emulatER is two patches behind, thats double the work. see how that works? 2x patches 2x the work. You will not find any other emulatERs that are working with the most recent patch, becuase there are none.

If you can code in C++ then i suggest you grab a copy of the emulatER source and try to help fix it, otherwise you will have to wait.

Well in that case HackersQuest has one that works a little buggy but its better then nothing

HAHAHAHAHA did you not read my post? The HQ emulator lost support back in march. ashran didn't have enough developers. that emulator works alrighty, cept you will notice that in 90% of the zones you are stuck in a single spot and can't move your character around, there is no quest system, the mob AI doesn't work, etc.. HQ = HackersQuest. EtheralQuest is their emulator. Have fun with it.

Dont be flaming the guy that likes HQ, before I got EQEMu to work, I tried hackersquest... let me warn you, if you run it... you will mess things up so badly you would with that you had not even tried it.
I got so mad at HQ not working - so I switched and played EQ on EQEmu, and I have a server up now... it was a chalange to get it up, because I had problems with the SQL databases.

Anyhow, if you would like me to help you, step by step, just tell me. I can give you my server, config files, everything (but i would take my password and database IP out and stuff), hit me up on AIM, my name is gottaSUMMER on AIM.

HQ is like a thought, everyone has one, some have more than others, but if proof is behind an idea, and people support the idea, it becomes reality, like EQEmu. That is just my opinion on HQ, I hate it so badly.
