Client Crashes at Login

I patched to live and used the Scorpious2k patcher to bring the files back down the the level they should be at. After I enter my username and password my client crashes to the desktop - no messages or errors. I'm probably missing something very obvious, and please feel free to beat me if I am. Thanks in advance.

the very obvious is there was a new live patch yesterday so if you patched you are pretty much screwed.

I don't play EQLive so I don't know when it patches, and I didn't see any posts on a patch yesterday, but yep, that'd do it... I'll go hide in shame now. Thx, bye.

i got the same prob, and my game has NEVER been patched, i followed all directions in the EQEMu Play Guide, did em again and again and again... everything goes fine when i click the shortcut, it doesnt patch or something. but when i hit login in the login screen the game just shuts down, and im back at my desktop. no errors nothin :? can it be fixed?

Thats your issue, you need the patch from 2 months ago.

thx for helping me, however, finding that old patch seems harder then i first thought. can some1 tell me where to get it plz? or give me the name of the file i have to find.

Actually no, we can't. Those files are what is considered "warez", and the topic is taboo around here. My suggestion is wait until the next DR is released. It should be compatible with Live. Aside from that, I don't think we can help you here.
