What version of Eqemu and mysql do I need? Also can you use the updated loot versions out there with a old version of eqemu? Also will minilogin work with the version I need? I know i'm asking a lot but it seems patience isn't a virture I have after 3 weeks =( thanks in advance.

You'd be better off waiting for 5.8 to be released, at which point we'll have caught up to Live.

Let me look at my files and see what I can see. I think that the version you are looking for is 0.5.3... I dont think the new DB's will work with the older emu verssions. But fortunately I think I might even have matching DB's.... If you want to send me a pm with an email address we'll see what we can do. Not promising, but won't hurt to try.

As far as MySQL, you can use the newest version, I would imagine.
