none of the links to the begining tutorial work. I need to figure out why i can't even get past the login screen

YOU CANNOT PLAY EQEMU IF YOU HAVE PATCHED SINCE JULY 16th 2004. PERIOD.

You CAN however play on 5.8 DR 1 servers (only is one currently).
