Hi all,
I'm sure you all see this alot, but im getting an illegal operation message after I click a server to log on. I click a server, then I get a black screen as if it is loading, then I get an ilegal operation message. It is my eqgame.exe. :( I have not patched since July or August sometime. I changed my eqhost to host=newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5994. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thankies. :D

Well, last time I patched was August 13, 2004. I decided to re-copy my files and do everything all over again, and still no luck. :?

Your client is not compatible with the current version of EQEmu. There ARE patchers out there that contain the correct files...However as they are warez I cannot give you a link. Do not be discourgaed, however, search the forums, you *may* find something.

could you point me in the right direction too Ilikecheese, as Im having the same problem.

Just patched fully after a format and I cant play on any of the servers. I can login, make a char but when i try to enter world screen just goes black then im back at login page.

check http://legends.hypershadow.net, but from there, cant tell ya. Against the rules :(. But its on that site, for sure.
