ummm i don't remember exactly what im supposed to do. i edited my eqhosts file and made a login account, and now im not sure what else i have to do to make it all work. or what to do to stop my client from auto updating all the time. HELP

YOU MUST HAVE A LOGIN ACCOUNT TO USE THIS

Keep in mind that yes, if you patched to live, most people cannot set up EQEmu and play, although it is possible on 5.9. This little thing is for playing on 5.7DR6. Follow all of this, except do the following also:

(a.) Do NOT do the account authorization reset (not required for new login servers)

(b.) Edit eqhost.txt to read:
[LoginServer]
Host=login1.eqemulator.net:5995

(c.) Download scorp2k's patcher here http://69.44.59.156/patcher.exe and then extract the files to your directory that you will use to play.

the scorp patcher dont work anymore, for people patched to live as of about a week ago.

i used 59 scorp patcher and it works just fine..........
