Allows someone to restart the server? I'm an coder/admin on frozenshadows server, considering I can connect to Xiden's Database and edit items and all that, is it possible to restart the server from my computer? One player on the server said it was, but didn't name the program that did it. Can anyone help me?

FightersChoice,
The server is running windows 2003 server with terminal services/desktop connection running. This is how I restart the server myself. Unfortunately using telnet will only allow you to shutdown the server and not start it back up. I will talk to you about remote access so you can terminal the server and restart when needed. Although this type of access is something that I do not give right away because this allows you to actually be on the server itself. Not that I think you will harm the server by accident, I just want to make sure before I let you have remote access. I too have heard people talking about a console program that will allow you to restart the server but have not seen anything yet.
Thanks,
Xiden

yah there are programs called real vnc (windows and possiablay linux), and for macintosh chicken of the vnc. These will allow you to terminal into each os and is all compatible with one another, i've done it before. I have a mixed network here at home.
