Well I make a shortcut of Eqgame and bring it to desktop. I then edit it by adding -patchme to the end with a space in between the quotes and the minus sign. I have already edited the host file and then I double click the new shortcut that I made and edited. However, after I double click on the shortcut it tells me to run Everquest.exe. For some reason Eqgame is not doing what it is supposed to do. Is it because I patched ? Any help would be wonderful thankyou for listening to my babble.

Take a screenshot of the properties of the shortcut and post it here.

"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest" <-- this is in Startin in box.

"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" this is in Target.

I add -patchme to the target box.

this is very odd.
