When I run world.exe (version 6.1DR1) and then run eqgame.exe and login to server select, all servers are missing. However, if I close out of world.exe and then run eqgame.exe and login to the server select, I see everything just fine.
Any idea why?

Got it fixed. Looks like it was a corrupt spells_us.txt

Got exactly the same thing. I run WORLD.EXE (on a different computer) and when I run the client I get no servers listed. As soon as I close the WORLD.EXE and restart the client it works fine again.
I have recompiled the server with a different port setting (6000 instead of 9000) and get exactly the same thing.
I am running the latest live client and 0.6.1 DR-1 source from CVS.
Also copied the spells_us.txt file across again to make sure, although I haven't even booted up any zone servers when it happens.
Only thing I can think of is that the login server isn't dealing well with the fact that both my machines are behind a NAT/PAT firewall with a single external static IP address and so would appear to be the same machine.
This was working fine 2-3 days ago...!

OK, how silly do I feel? I had ICQ running on my server machine...

I got it to work on a few other people's computers just by having them randomly patch files and copy files. =/
