Oh, BTW, this was compiled with Visual Studio 2005 Beta, so don't blame me if it doesn't work properly ;)

I shall attempt an AMD64 compile at some point when I'm bored...

Zone.exe has a problem. It errors upon leaving character select to enter world.

Have updated the compiled Perl version at the link above. Now includes the archery fix and the debug compile of zoneperl.exe as it blatently refuses to crash under the debugger so can't fix it easily.

The source is available via cvs at sourceforge.

Hey--- can someone compile a Perl version of 6.1DR1 that's not a debug version? I keep getting spammed with debug windows with the current ZonePerl.exe (I think debug may be in the preprocessor?) and it freezes up the entire zone each time.

I have also some failure when 2 player are in the same zone.
Not with the first compiled version, but with the second.

rather than make a new thread, i figured i'd bump this one. is there a compiled non perl version of 6.1 with the archery fix yet?

i'll download and start using perl in a few days and i don't have a compiler. but before i start writing quests, i want to get the basics working first.
