Help Please

Im very new to this. Been looking at EQEmu for a long time now but I never really got the hang of it. Last night i did everything that was needed. But when i click login it says "Logging to to server please wait....." i let it sit like that for over an hour. Can anyone tell me if theres something i have done wrong? Thank you

You have the wrong EQ client for the server version you're running.

how exactly would i get the right one?

this happens to me everytime i login for the first time starting my server up.if you got the right version of eq you have to login then ctrl alt del and shutdown everquest then do it again and it lets me play the game

Well it seems I have the latest patch, and it says do not patch at the top. So evidently its broken for me until further notice. Thank you for your help
