Bard song broken

I am experiencing some difficulties in bard song twistings. It will work well for some time in the beginning, but after a while one of the songs will get stuck in chanting, ie., it goes on and on, even after I press the song gel again, delete that song, or type /stopsong, it will never stop. Once that happens, I could never start another song because the old one won't stop. Any ideas? When I die or get charmed, feared, the song still stop normally and then twisting will work normally for a while. And the song stucked is random, it doesn't seem that one of the songs is broken, it is that the client thinks the song has stopped but the server thinks it is still going on.

(I'm using minilogin and eqemu 0.6.1, pre 5.11 client, PEQ database)

Thats rihgt..I started a Bard when I first started playing on PEQ. And the songs werent working so I had to delete the char. Until this is fixed the Bard class is virtually useless.

Only good use of the bug is, charming pets, will last forever. So what I do now is just charm a pet, then go solo as if I'm a beastlord. The pet is so much stronger than a BL pet, however I can not command it. The client does not recognize that Iu have a pet (the pet command window is grayed), but pet will still defend me when I get hit. So I'll tank with plate armor, and let pet chew mobs from behind with 10 times the efficiency of a wanderer, kind of a new class feeling.
