Login Issues

for whatever reason, when i log into EQEMU, it tells me i have an invalid username/password.

I only have to refer to the forums to know my username, and I have gone through the steps of resetting my password, but it continues to tell me it's all invalid.....

any help would be appreciated.

BTW, using 5998, eqhost is set to read-only, and i've added patchme to the end of the target in eqgame. should be working no?

and suddenly my username and password works again...

doesn't really matter. now i get 1017 error.

i was under the impression that the 5998 loginserver host had caught up with post-break-live. guess that's inaccurate.

My username/password messes up every now and then. All I have to do is retype my Username in (Instead of just typing the password in, because the username is there already) and it works fine. Kind of wierd.

As of yesterday I logged to the server select with a live compatible version I copied a few days (More like a week)ago. 3 or 4 days ago I called my Sister and had her copy her folder that she plays live on everyday and she logged in to Krushers with no trouble.

I have experienced 1017 on my own server which I know works with my client. I am not sure why, however sometimes despite the fact that you may have the correct client you will get 1017s. From my limited experience this usually occurs after multiple attempts to login. I find that if I use another user ID I am able to login, or if I wait a while and attempt again.

well it's been over 24 hours since i tried to log in, just tried, still getting 1017 error.

You get what you pay for i guess.
