Been a long time since i've run an EqEmu server and I no longer had the MySql software installed.
So I follwed the link provided on this guide
http://eqemu.sesmar.net/eqemu_6_1dr2/
and downloaded MySql, but when i tried to run the setup program i got this error message:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "Close" to terminate the application.
nothing happens when I choose "Ignore"
I tried searching but was unable to come up with any relevant information.
So I downloaded the latest version of MySql, thinking that was my problem. It installed just fine, but when I reached the part of the tutorial where I open winmysqladmin.exe it is not in the bin folder...
does it even exist with the latest version? or have I overlooked an incredibly dumb mistake due to being awake all night?
What should I do?
