Please put bug list inforrmation here only, no chit chat, nothing that is a client issue either (Your EQ runs slow, etc.)

Some of the #setskills don't work, and not all the skills be added when you do #setallskill.

Slam will make you kick (which isn't really bad but its funny)

*edit* When you have slam or bash, the hotkey and skill vanishes when you zone.

Trouble joining servers sometimes

I can't think of anymore. Hope this helps.

#setallskill 252 stops at percussion instruments. Form that skill on down, none gets set.

Command line -holdzones no longer functions correectly.

Numerous crash to login problems are back.

Still seeing that holdzones sometimes silently fails.

-DCATCH_CRASH seems to do nothing under linux :-(

Still seeing occasional world crashes as well... With log file looking normal after crash... :-(

1. Emissary of Thule lvl 59 necro pet doesn't look like a spec, but a skeleton instead.

2. When pet is fighting a mob, the mob and pet hit each otehr for one round then fall out of sky, hit each other, fall out of sky, etc etc.

3. Zlandicar's Heart upon my character (has regen effect) took away hps, instead of adding them. All regen's working backwards?

Will keep you up to date with bugs as I find them. Best way to fix them is to know that they exist.

World crashed when someone tried to create a dupe character. Attached is the errors and log file for world. Not sure if it will help but it is here.

ok I did all setskill x 252 from 0 to 73 using an iskar monk level 100

result is many skills seems to be asbent , no more flying kick and the like , more than one setskill x 252 as no result (ie no you have become better ...no new button ) including all channeling , specialize abjure , abjure , specialize alter , alter ... alechemy , smithing , defense.

dunno if they are working without being able to see them in the skill list , but thats it (client side I mean ) dunno how it is server side

I don't know what you guys did but there are some times when i just can't get on any server, and if i do, it' laggy as all hell. I never had this problem with the other versions, and my connection is in the same condition it was before...

Rolling back would cause more problems. Somewhere the packets are getting lost, might even be related to the setskills bug. But it's not 100% thing, so it's gonna be hard to track this latency thing down i'm guessing. I'm pretty frustrated myself, but i'm sure the dev team is even moreso, so it helps to think about that as i hit enter for the 30 minutes it takes to find a working server :p

CTD will fix itself if you delete your eqcfg and redo your graphics setup

Image: I don't understand. How would nuking my eqcfg and redoing it, fix the CTD? I work for a while then CTD, except on some servers. (Like yours) where I CTD immediately on initial zonein. It seems to work fine to my server. (Colocated 2 routers and 3ms away)

Invisible Corpses.

I've noticed that sometimes you die and i believe this is caused when a server shuts down and is rebooted and corpses are stuck back into the zone. The Corpse is "invisible" although you can summon it and notice "invisible" corpses in the zone with Sense Corpse line of spells.. Chipped Bone Rod etc. I've encountered that with a "Invisible" Corpse in a zone, it tends to go into a "hyper-Graphics Lag" in which its hard to turn.. loot cast.. run.. anything but its not lag connecting to the server. I looted the corpse and INSTANTLY the Lag Disapeared. This is probally a known problem of the past although id like to point out its still there = (

Well, I'm not sure if it's worth posting, but I figured I'd let someone know...

I noticed that an NPC was fighting someone and I was the only one in the zone. It took me a while, but I discovered she was fighting herself.

I repoped the zone and watch her and discovered that when she cast Dark Pact it aggros her against herself.

Bascially, she beats the crap out of herself until her health is down till no red is showing and then calms down.

I'm using Lurker's 0.39 Database with no mods. I'm guessing that the server needs something to prevent an NPC from aggroing against itself.

Anyway, hope this helps and great job to the Devs and worldbuilders!

Am I the only one who has noticed that with the new release you cannot put an item into the secondary slot using the client? You have to put it in using the admin or editing the table yourself.

I think this is a regen / damage intake issue.

A bug exists where spells such as regen hurt the person with the spell on them. Such that an npc when they cast regen on themself, will attack themself.

I bet Dark Pact or any spell that is suppose to take health away is causing the npcs to agro on themselves as they are taking damage, as you have said. I assume both bugs are related.

North Qeynos, Qeynos Hills, Toxxulia Forest and probably some other zones seem to have the Luclin sky graphics.. this is presumably a bug in the zone .cfg files.

Actually Drawde there are no cfg files for those zones. I figured out how to create them manually but then I heard that Lyenu and Quag have all of them and haven't released them yet. Next release is what I heard on IRC.

I don't know enough about C++ to track this down any further.

Life taps seem to be assigning the targets HP to the caster as well. So everytime the lifetap changes the mob's HP the casters is changed to the same value, including 0HP aka death.

This seems to be located in:
void Client::Damage and void NPC::Damage
but I havn't figured out what code is the actual problem.

Regarding getting droped to the login screen on zoning, I noticed this in the zone window I was zoning from

Zoning to safe coords: templeveeshan (124)
Zoning player to:templeveeshan (124) x:-1 y:-1 z:-1
Zoning complete
[b]Wrong size on 0x5521. Got: 8236, Expected: 8244[/b]

Continuing the above post...

I have 2 characters, and they repeatably have problems zoning into some zones. But it is different zones for each character. If a dev wants to try and duplicate this, I can send them my account and character tables or all the DB if they want.


Another Item is AApoints... well I was able to assign all the points I wanted. clicking the right % arrow gave me 10 points, and nearly a full point bubble. (it always showed 0 AAexp points when killing something) Using points reduced the blue bar only, and went back to full blue when it ran out. the number of avalible points never changed. Also a lot of the AA stuff works once activated.

If i remember correctly, opcode 5521 is the opcode that tells it to save your char while zoning.

I installed/played with it a little bit tonight, and created my first character in Freeport. Human Monk. For some reason when i'd try to enter the game it'd go all the way through loading then simply crash to desktop. Neither the world or zone consoles provided much info as they simply stated "the client disconnected". Boggled me for a few, before I tried making a new character a Dark Elf Necro. Neriak 3rd gate loaded fine, not sure if the crash bug i was getting in freeport was zonewide or just default spawn point or what. Hope this is at least remotely helpful though...

Money is bugged to high heavens:

Money you change in a bank will revert.
Money you put in the bank will dissapear.
Money can't be given to others in trade.
Money will randomly dissapear, or turn into NEGATIVE money.
Merchants are accepting way too little money for items.

2 things.

Quest items given by an npc... If you give out more than 1 item, the others seem to be there, but the emu is reporting them as invalid. Once you camp they poof. If you try to zone, you will crash to char select, and the items are gone. I think this one has been in there for a while, but Im not positive.

Second, I noticed that when buying AA skills, if you click fast it will go past the limit. I was able to get 10/5 points, actually as many as I wanted. I am not sure if this is handled client side or not...

I also get the CTD bug with some zones, such as Frontier Mountains and Surefall Glade. Not Freeport though.
Regarding the money bug, it seems with some items - spells particularly - merchants will take the cost in silver and copper from you, but not the cost in gold/platinum. For other items, they subtract the right amount.

Also, I've noticed that books don't seem to work with the current version. I've set up the identifier correctly (e.g "discord" for the Tome of Order and Discord) and checked it out in EQEmuAdmin, but nothing happens when you try and read the book in-game. Books certainly worked with previous EQEmu versions, so this is a bug rather than a missing feature.

First, I'll get server dropped(either to char select or login, doesn't seem to matter which). Then, when trying to log back in from char select, I'll get dropped back to login(just like a lot of people talk about). But, I can log in with another char, do a /who all and see my other chars name listed in the zone where I was dropped. This only seems to happen while playing on other peoples servers, or I just haven't seen it happen in mini yet.

I have seen this bug a few times, but nobody else seems to have mentioned anything about it. So it might just be me.

When using the #zone command, I go to the safe coordinates in the zone, but immediately fall through the world. This is most prevalent in Vexthal and Sanctus Seru.

In Kael, I am stuck in the geometry, and completely unable to move.

The game then goes into a loop when I fall through the world where it tosses me back to the safe coordinates, where I immediately fall through the world. The only way out of the loop is to gravflux myself (#castspell 1636).

Also, zoning from one zone to another won't actually take me to that zone. I'll go to a completely random zone instead.

Ideas?
