So far no eta. There is no promise of ever catching back up to live :( but if I had a guess, a new live compatible server will be along sometime.

Note: One of the skills required to play eqemu is patience. :)

I think we can't see new eqemu compatible before long time.
Devs (and we can understand that :) ) prefer repair broken things first.

The problem is things get broken every time it's updated to live too, so it's a vicious cycle.
