Mixing old and new files PLZ HELP!

heres the deal. I have 2 everquest folders on my computer right now. One is pre patch and it will play loginserver 5994 servers but cant find any servers on the 5998 list. The other everquest folder is all brand new and it will find all the 5998 servers but cant play any of them. Could anyone possibly let me know, if this is even possible, what files to move from the new one to the old to make it find the 5998 servers? thanks a million eqemu

You don't have any to chance to make it work. :(
5994 version isn't compatible with 5998 server.
5998 version fresh patch : "DO NOT PATCH ON 9/13 OR LATER - 9/13 EQ Patch Breaks 0.6.2 (Which we are freezing on)"

No legal issue sorry.
