I like everquest, but i don't understand why put better graphics is disgusting ?
I prefer new graphics than gameplay's trash by sony.

I think people just prefer things to stay the same as they remember them from the old days.

From the emu perspective, changing a zone screws up all the spawns and waypoint grids we have in the database, which is a big problem, too.

Ahhh nostalgia ! We have all this for keep EQ in our heart :)
If you want keep old graphic they don't erase it !
You can delete eqg files for zone and don't mod your database :)
On my serveur i Like new nektulos graphic, but i hate one thing this zone now is tiny now, very tiny ! I hope they don't reduce size on all revamped zone :(

wow, This is amazing haha. On the other hand, I wish EQ was like the way it was before Luclin!. The good old classic days. Also, if they make it look all better, whats the point in having EQ 2? for the gameplay and storyline? ptshh, please..

I like EQ more than EQ2, because i like HUGE universe and EQ2 is very very tiny :(

Its disgusting. Remember flat-faced green orcs? What happened to them? Now the orcs kinda look intimidating. I know you can just delete the files, but it really shows two things. (A) Sony is destroying what EQ used to be (literally) and (B) They don't understand that when we mean 'fix already-instated content', they take it as 'lets EQ2ize freeport and oasis!'. Besides. I thought the transition from freeport to PoK was bad because of the graphical quality change. Going from the commons to oasis is going to be painful.
