Hello to all. By the way im new.
Forgive me if u want to just kick me around but i really dont get this. I have searched the form and the wiki but still have questions.
I can log on to the server sel but i can not play.

Q1: What do i do with this EQEmu-0.6.5-697 ???

Q2: What is 9/13 patch all about?? i dont understand what u mean by dont patch to this as the wiki tells u to load the patcher??

Q3: is there not just a straight forward tut for how to get playin??

Q4: Do i just need to instal EQ from disk and then not patch with live patcher?

Sorry for thiez dumb questions but i really would like to play.

1: Nothing..That is a server program. To play you dont need that. If you want to run a server yourself then you need it..
2: You must patch..However the patch is too new for the emulator. You cant play right now..Sorry..
3:wiki is the most straightforward we have.
4:NO..It dont work that way..The .exe provided on the CD is no good..Sony
changes the .exe and files as soon as you patch. There was never an emulator made to run from a CD..But there may be someday if enough CDs were made with one single .exe and files that are the same. There were many CDs made with outdated files..Sony just changes them when you patch.
They dont care if the CD dont work. The patch fixes

There is never a date set on anything..(mostly)The devs are volunteers with other lives besides EQemu and they dont like promises they cant keep.
