do you have the right client? remember if you patched to live, you are screwed. Right now the only option is to go out and buy Titanium, or if you didnt patch since we where live compatible. Your only other option is to ask a friend for a backpatch, which cannot be discussed here, so dont ask here.

Whats the date of your eqgame.exe? go to your eq dir at the top click on views and select detail then scroll down to you find your eqgame.exe and see whats the date on it.
Also have you tried the eqvercheck? look on the winki to see the link to download.

ok im using a 9/13 patch which SHOULD Work with 7.0 now the problem ive seen is the zoneserver times out before it finds the appropriate opcodes to use when zoning in and the world server is a bit picky as well out of ever 5 login attempts to a 7.0 server i actually get ingame once or twice so i think its actually a issue with the way it searches for the opcodes in the various opcode files but i could be wrong

game does not crushed at 0.6.0 and 0.6.1 at server screen selection, but at versions 0.6.2 - 0.6.6 - i cannot login - timeout occured

We use a different login server port for 0.6.0 than we do for the current versions. Be sure you're using the right port.
