Command prompt and pearl

I was following the wiki installer guide for 7.0 but I ran into an odd problem. Im trying to install the three items in the ppm ala pearl but the command prompt only pops on the screen briefly and disapears(which did the same for winmysqladmin.exe but got it to run through dos), but if I run it via dos it gives me Error: neither "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ActiveState/PPM/InstallLocation nor "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ActiveState/PPM/InstallLocation' found in registery at c:\Perl\bin\ppm line 16

I searched around and saw nothnig of this anywhere else. Am I blind or just not dos savy enough? =)

It was a perl install problem,
You must search in perl support forum, perhaps better for find a clue than eqemulator forum :)
