Hey

I was wondering if it is possible to remove buffs (or DoTs) through the SQL database...I've been searching for it...but I can't seem to find anything...

I think my littlebrother would be really aprechiative, if someone could help me, since his magician is...kind of locked in a crashing loop...

Curiously, that is one I would like to know also. Is it the blob file?

The last time I had a player stuck in a crashing loop it was because he put on a piece of armor that increased his hitpoints by more than he had and everytime he would spawn he would die. I met him at his bind point and spammed him with #heal untill he could remove the item. Couldn't you just meet him and level or freeze him so it wouldn't kill him untill it wore off.

The big question is why the hell is a dot staying through death... That would be the route of the problem and should be fixed there.

Hmm thinking about it, usually when I've had that happen, once I died I would get kicked, then when I re-logged I would be at my bind point. Wierd that the DoT is not being wiped upon player death.

I had this happen to one of my test characters once with bleeding, he held onto the bleeding dot through death and got stuck in a loop, might have been that he was unable to regenerate while bleeding... maybe a code somewhere. I stopped the loop when I #healed myself.
