Has anyone been able to fix the issues with monks when they hit level 60??
Ive only been able to narrow it down to ... yes its only after they ding 60 and they drop whatever zone they are in when they kill a mob.

There are many discussions on certain classes doing damage and killing a zone. Not sure of their links, but they are out there. My posts regarding it have to do specifically with Monk classes with crit abilities pretty much doing nothing but Crits, and occasionally crashing zone.exe.

So you are not alone. But thanks for helping to narrow it down a little (level 60+ perhaps?)

We tested it out last night a level 59 monk has no issues as far as killing mobs once they hit the magic level 60 though they might as well delevel because every 1-2 mobs killed will disconnect them.

im the level 59 monk soulshot spoke of. i hit 60 last night and as soon as i killed my first mob the zone crashed. i have another monk 65 on peq grand server and it does not happen there. from my experiences i think in my opinion it may be a server only issue. becuase i have noticed monk issues on one server are less prevalent on another server. but one thing is constant on all servers and thats the reuse timer issue on abilities. i have less of an issue on darktides than i do on peq grand creation when it comes to timer issues. and the only thing i see happening on darktides is the 60+ monk killing mob and zone crashing. i have no idea what happens behind the scenes (coding) so i may not be much help except giving my imput for issues i see while in game. send me a tell if you have any questions (chuck) on darktides. thanks and pray to the emu gods for relief and my GM.

oops forgot to add. the gm fixed the issue for a while. i killed about 10-15 mobs things were good and then BOOM the zone crashed i think soulshot is on the right path to correct this issue. what ever he did seem to work for a little while.

and btw i dont have crits yet, also.

it sounds like it might only be happening on windows... somebody needs to run zone.exe under the visual studio debugger and post a stack trace with line numbers when it crashes.

FNW, I'll see if I can figure out how to do this. I have VS 2005, and know something about debugging, but not sure if you mean to run the code for zone.exe in debug mode, or attach a debugger to it and try and crash it.

I know it's a lot to teach someone how to do this, so no worries if you have no time. But I can reproduce a zone.exe crash with minimal effort. While I was typing this, my confounded monk friend just crashed another one! heh

its a lot easier to build it and then run it under the debugger
