Can Login, but Not Connect to Server

Hi everyone.

I played EQ a long time ago, and quit once WoW came out becuz my friends decided to start playing it. I never got into WoW, and now after a few years I want to play again for fun.

I installed all of my cd's over again. so that includes kunark, velious, SoL, the downloadable expansions, PoP, and finally GoD.

Then I patched those and the optional zones.

I had a problem with a .dll but i just foud it online and put it in the EQ directory.

I can login and get to the server menu, but I can't actually connect.

I also already did all the things said in the wiki thing.

The error I get was
"An unknown error occured."

Now I am getting:
"Error 1017: Cannot run Everquest Server You may need to rerun the update patch..."

Do I have to reinstall, or even buy Titanium?
