i do everything right but when i luanch the emu it says 0 servers connected 1 client connected how do i get the server connect sorry for the newb question just need help thank you

Aparently you didnt do everything.


What are you trying yo run? what version? minilogin or public? windows or linux? do you have titanium to play it?

well see i got everything to work and connected now and as in my last post that has nothing to do with this one i said i get to login but eqgame.exe encounters an error 2 diffrent issue's i was looking for help i am sorry

but do you think you can help me with my new issue? please sir

I finaly get everything to work login to my account select the server and press play. Once i do that it says eqgame.exe has encounterd a problem and must close it does this everytime how do i fixx this issue

think you can help me dude cmon please

i am running windows xp
my comp more then meets the requirments

Ok ok i fixxed the up top problem by reinstalling everything i set everything up select the server press play and it sends me back to the login screen i sign in again and get an error 1017 cannot run everquest you may need to run the updated patch indicated this cant connect to patch server this may be temp

i try it serveral times wait and try again same problem anyone know the issue here?

it still sounds like you dont have Titanium fresh off the disks, are you sure you installed Titanium editon right off the disks and didnt patch ?

100% sure see i download titanium and then i do the steps the website gives me everything seems to work accept now i get that error

hehe! you don't get it? you need to go and buy the retail Titanium box edition - The download does not work.
Again, here's what works

Fresh install of STORE BOUGHT, TITANIUM EDITION - NOTHING ELSE WILL WORK.

BUY IT IN THE STORE - BUY IT FOR 20.00 - BUY IT AT WALMART.COM - DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT, YOU HAVE TO BUY IT!!

Well sir maybe you cant read i got a 100% store bought everquest titanium from walmart FRESH Installed so maybe you dont get it man i just want help with that error i got eq titanium fresh installed never been patched but i get the error above

the quete you selected about me was saying i downloaded my eq titanium from the cds i was given from walmart and then i looked at the tut on eqemulator.com thats what was ment

Did you already try changing your refresh rate and your display in the ini?

no do i have to? i may have missed that see theres these 2 files eqhost.txt and eqhost what are they suppose to look like the both of them may have mess them up

ok ok here a re-do of my errors and only one i have

i start eqemu let it all load then i run eq type my username and password
i see my server i click it and press play when i do so it stop 5-10 sec and then brings me back to the login screen so i try to login again and get this error that says: Error 1017 cannot login to the everquest server you may need to re-run the updated patch, repeatally seeing this message indicates a loss of connectivity to the patch server


But i didnt patch it and even re installed serveral times to make sure it was fresh ive followed the guide step by step maybe i am missing somthing easy?

check these forums, others have had this error and there is detailed posts already on how to try to fix it, there can be several reason for it so try them till it works.
