the readme says to check all of these.

~~ATTN~~ If you get this error:

Login server responded with FatalError. Disabling reconnect
Error message: 'Incorrect version'

This is caused by one or more of three things:

1. You left worldaddress blank in loginserver.ini (this needs to have your real IP. if your using minilogin it needs to be 127.0.0.1 or localhost.

2. You didnt add or use the correct loginport in loginserver.ini.

3. You dont have the latest version of EQEmu.

Now the first one i have, i'm using Minilogin btw
The second one i do not understand.. so that could be it
And i just downloaded EQemu so its definetly not that

I can make it all the way up to the login screen and then when i type in eqemu/eqemu it tells me to run the path program i have an outdated version. Any help would be great!

You need the latest Minilogin which can be found at the sorceforge site.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/eqemu/
