I just started playing the EQ Emulator and got logged on last night, everything went smooth until i went to zone, when i try to zone it takes me back to the login screen, when i logged back in it took me to the zone i was trying to zone into, then i tried zoning again and it happened exactly the same.
any ideals?

Poor login server or minilogin server performance can affect your server's zoning performance. Also, if your server doesnt have a lot of spare memory or CPU, your zones might be booting to slow and cause you to time out. These 2 issues are the likely culprits, but you can only control or do something about the first issue.

I think I stated my issue a little wrong, i'm not running my own server, one of my buddies got me to install the Titanium client and i'm connecting to the Grand Creation server, this is where i'm having my issues. Sorry if I confused anyone with the way i worded it. But i think that the reply i got here is for if i was running my own server, but i'm not, i'm connecting to someone elses server and as far as i know i'm the only one with the issue.

what is your connection to the internet?
Cable? Dial up? DSL?
EQEmu is not friendly to slower connections.

Matt's probably correct, but you can also ask on the Grand Creations forums as well. See if anyone else is having that issue. I am forced to use Dialup currently, and I have no problems really. But then, I am not on populated servers, and usually alone in a zone.
Long ago, a fix to linkdeath was to edit the Datarate.txt file, setting it to 9 or something like that. Maybe that'll help the Emu connection (not even sure if that setting is used anymore though).

Your connection is slow, look for crap ware if you think you already looked and don't have any, look again with this stuff;

If it's not crap ware, then read this post;

This will show you how to tweak your cable connection, and also might just be bad bandwith your provider is giving you.

A couple of zones are known to do this on PEQ, as we find them we make them static which eliminates the problem. However, if you find this is happening frequently then yeah I agree with everybody else it's probably your connection.
