Epic 1.0

Was hoping someone could tell me why the gfx for epic 1.0's wouldn't show up? 1.5 , 2.0, other random armor and weapons all will show, just not 1.0. any help would be great. thanks.

I can see the cleric epic 1.0 ball and chain. I've never paid attention to any other effects it might be casting off. You talking about the physical object does not appear in your hand? Or some radiant effect it throws off (like sparklies or fire)?

actually i can see the effects given off by the item, but not the item itself

Did you try unequipping it, then equipping it again? You know how sometimes range items overwrite whats in your hand... I'll have to check that out when I get home.

here's a little more info in the problem. I have tried unequiping and reequiping, zoning, logging out and back in. I use the exact backed up eq folder on my laptop and i can connect to the server and all epics will show up. So I know it's not my client, or my DB. Has to be something with my pc/drivers. Sooooo, I wipe my pc, even use older drivers and they still won't show up. Old nvidia vid drivers, old directx, old sound drivers. This is buggin the hell outta me. I have seen the epics before with my server and this client, what would have kept only a few certain weapons from showing up. All else works fine.

Ok figured it out,and maybe this info will help others. I was a bad account. I know, very strange thing to keep it from working, but I deleted my account and made a new one and epics show up now.
