Make sure you have an account set up in your 'account' table of the db...
i also cannot login from the computer beside me, after editign minilogin and everything... until you get errors fixed with your server you probably wont be able to log in.... you need to also make sure your eqhost.ini file gives the ip address of the computer containing the server.....turn off firewall, etc etc...

No...ive got several accounts set up..the major problem i believe is that Zone.exe isnt working.. note that "No Zone Launcher Avail." but...
it even says that dynamic zones have started...any other ideas? lol
and i do have several accounts set up...for both computers..but i dont know enough to fixx the zoneserver.
And just to clarify- I CAN Get to the char select screen...but not a zone... :-)

While you have your server running. Open up a DOS box and type the path to your eqemu and start a zone manually and see what happens. maybe some like this:...C:\eqemu\zone.exe
Note what world tells you then, try logging in.

absolutely nothing.
At all.
Nothing happened, World.exe keeps reporting the zones started spam, and zone.exe stops after "Loading Skill Caps"
Any other ideas?

Hi ,
can you post your eqemu.config.xml? Might be something in there.
Also, I noticed you have a recent EqEmu version - make sure your database is up to date with the EQEMu you are using

Morgan,
I have had tons of problems trying to get my server going, and it was all becaues of different versions of different things. I finally got mine going tonight using the following setup.
Emu v 0.7.0.992
Mysql v 5.0.27
Latest PEQ via CVS
Latest Quest via CVS
Map Pack w/ New Map Pack via Sourceforge
Keep in mind that this install is on Windows XP Pro w/Sp2. The same setup on Windows Vista does not work, I will vouch for that, but then again it could of just been me.

I always keep my posted database up to date, so it will work too.
