eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I searched around for help before I started a new thread. The game is not patched, just did a fresh install. I edit'd me host file like told, and added patchme at the end of the shortcut properties.

Any idea what the heck is up?

That error is almost impossible for any of us to troubleshoot. It can be caused by a huge number of things. As dumb as this sounds, I would reinstall titanium. Change the eqgame shortcut and try again. If the problem continues then I honestly don't know what else to tell ya.

Reistalled 4 times. Also, I've installed off of two different CD sets. Did not patch with live server. The error is right on start up. Actually I just had a crazy idea that it might have to due with my reolution settings. Let me go try that

That fixed it. Issue was the resolutions weren't matched up

which resolutions? how do you exactly fix the problem?

Well I had a wide screen monitor, resolution or 1600X1200 or w/e it is. Titanium unpatched doesn't support that, so I had to lower my screen res to 1024 by whatever and adjust the game to that resolution also.
