New music for old zones?

Zones from PoP era and later all have mp3 music- which is easy to replace.
Old zone (Luclin included?) do not have mp3 music files.
I was wondering if anyone figured a way to give pre-pop zones new music?

Change the sndbnk.eff files and rename them. You might need to recompress them, so chances are high that it might not even work. I remember having to change them because I was editing the soundbank files on my SoundBlaster Live! card and had to edit those a real long time ago.

If it bothers you that much, just use the MP3 player in the game. Personally, I can only stomach the South Karana music so much until I have to load some music.

Oh, and I don't think this topic belongs in the Development section. You're asking a question and asking for support on something that isn't being contributed. ;)
