I believe the packet collector still does not work with live right now right? I was wondering is the source for packet collector out there? Does anyone have it? I tired the winki and saw the emucollector 2.0 but when I setup it said error no device or something to that affect. Was wondering why. Maybe if I can get the packet collector to work with live now I figure go ahead and keep collecting packets for the day when we catch up closer up to live.

We havent been trying to catch live and never will again.

The packet collector as is should work for live, at least it did a couple weeks ago.

I spent a few weekends with a Linux box, ShowEQ, and tcpdump running, and ran through as much of GoD and DoN as I had access to. I am fairly confident data gathering is a non-issue, but I think the EQBuilder is what is behind the times.

Speaking of which, if anyone with a red name (or involved with PEQ directly) is interested in my captures, let me know where to send them. Since my info is likely all over the data, I won't be offering this to anyone I don't explicitly trust.

(btw, after a superficial analysis of my collected data, I think the Cavedude database already had most of what I discovered - save a few newer or modified NPCs or objects - so it might not be worth the effort).

does anyone have the eqemu collector compiled for windows and the binaries too. Also does anyone have the binaires for the eqbuilder and compiled for windows. I know matt you guys are at this time not to cath live. This is just for myself to catch some data like the npcs and stuff.
