Auto Zone Port Configuration

I used the new .PDF guide to starting your own server, got through everything well. The server starts just fine, but won't let me connect. I always get the following once i try to login.

then nothing happens, other box goes to

0: sleeping

any help?

That looks fine. The window should say 0: sleeping.

Your error is somewhere else. When does it stop you from connecting. At the server select screen? At the charater select screen? Can you see your server? Can you see any action in the Emulator windows when your trying to connect?

I also have this issue, just stop at the character selection.... then login to the zone, popup 'zone not available'

any ideas? Thanks a lot!

1) make sure your router is doing the correct port forwarding
2) make sure you have your en_spell files in the root directory

Not having the spell files will cause the zone to crash, instead of just not loading up a requested zone.

Is your launcher starting properly. Try to boot up zone.exe several times and then give it a shot. Your error is different from the OP as he cant even get logged in where as you can, but your launcher wont load up the request zone.
