bulletin Boards ?

Does anyone have any idea how to get the old bulletin boards to work? it use to be that you could click on them and add information , or just type a note to a friend. I remember using these way back when and would like to get them working again. there is one in CSHome, one in Highhold Keep , and a few others around the world. I know how to place them but I dont know what open type they are . thanks

They were broken when they updated the EQ UI (Sony) and decided message boards weren't worth their time. No different than boats which were broken when they implemented DirectX 9, so you fell through them.

well ,I will just have to fix them somehow, lol.

I replaced the texture for the bboard in CSHome but it did not change it in game , so that tells me that board is coming from some other file, its not in doors or books so all I have to do is find it.

You talking about the recruiting boards in the guild lobby, or some ancient thing before my time? If the latter, I'm interested! :)

There used to be Message boards located in various taverns and inns that you could view messages that other players put up. These I think were global boards for the server so Joe in Kelthin could put up a "WTS FBSS PST" and John in Qeynos could look and see that and then reply if Joe was on that he was interested. This way not everyone was crammed into the EC tunnels when the need to buy stuff. It also worked for Guild recruiting and ect...
