Crash After Character Select Screen

ok i just installed EQEMU on this computer... It works fine on my other computer but not on this one. This is what happens- after i log in, i go to the server select screen. I select a server and hit play now. I get to the Character select screen and click on a character and hit Enter world. It seems like it freezes on that screen for about 3 or 4 minutes and then i just boots me right back to the login screen. It does that everytime i do it.
(Fresh Everquest Titanium installed, didnt patch)

Any suggestions?

Is this your own server, or one of the public ones? There was a bit of an outage today (at least from my neck of the woods). Maybe someone's server hasn't waken up yet.

I usually get that when I am flipping between minilogin and public, and forget to change the variables back to "public".

ive been playing KMRA Raid Addicts and ive gotten on the grand creation server and a couple other servers, but it does the same thing. It will get to the character select screen and after i hit Enter World it just sits there. then boots me.

I'm having the same problem on my work computer. I'm thinking it might have to do with the graphics card. I can get into the character select screen, but just after I try to enter the world, I crash to the login screen. My graphics card is Mobile Intel (R) 965 Express Chipset Family.

Just curious if there's a way to get EQ to work using this card.

I have a 965 Express, and it works, although I have most particle effects turned off.

started working today... maybe i just needed to restart computer
