If you are new to EQ Emu, you may want to give this server a try. You can summon any item you want (has to be no level limit). Nice diversion as it just allows you to explore more easily. Top level at the moment is 65 with a quest to get level 66 (ascension fairy in Nexus). One of the best features is #zone command which will instantly port you to any available zone.
Some common destinations early on:
#zone nro (to north Ro)
#zone Kurn (to Kurns Tower)
#zone cabeast (to East Cabilis)
#zone Paludal (level 15-25)
#zone Permafrost (20-30)
#zone Overthere (30-40)

You can #search for any item in the database
#search Journeyman
You will see a list of Journeyman items with
id#2300 at top for Journeyman's Boots.
Now type in #si 2300 and you will have the item on your cursor. (hint: useable from an inventory slot--you dont have to equip)

Some nice items..
Ancient Coldain Holy Mace or Ancient Coldain Frostreaver (high dmg weapons)
The Prime Healers Bulwark (all/all regen BP)
Signet of Might (earring)
The Skull of Den lord R.... (nice face with +resist clicky)
Yttrium items (many slots including very nice ring and SOW boots)
Scaled Alloy items (most are ALL/all)
Tharkis Platinum earring (nice stats and clicky orc illusion)
prayer of life (clicky scroll for health)
etc.

This is a great server for leveling up fast and exploring a bit. Its very forgiving for newbies and gives you a taste of high end play. Usually only 3 or 4 on at a time, some very helpful.

Just a heads up.

Btw, would love to see more no level limit items or helpful potions, scrolls etc
listed. A list of #zone commands would be nice too. :)

Thanks for info. My highest level char is a Monk at 40. I played a Paladin to level 27 but he was unable to scribe spells so just started a warrior :). Not sure if thats a bug or not. Nice server, little lag. (if any)

sounds like a great server, infact I'm loading onto it right now to test it out. Been looking for one that you can mess around on. I played live EQ for 6 years and want to get away from that long, long never-ending grind machine that is Evercrack lol. THis sounds like just the server for that :) Thanks!

Yea, that would be really great if you could implement those for us aswell. Then we dont have to go searching for thousands of clicky items that have only mediocre buffs. Also, I was wondering if you are going to implement POP anytime soon? I just ported into plane of justice and theres no one in there, nothing is spawned. Same with BoT. Maybe its because I'm not 46 yet? It let me into the zone though.

Just a few other things for you to look into. Old Sebilis won't work. I have the key and clicked the orb, it said this is locked you got it open! but then it ported me to a random spot in teh zone and said you are not experienced yet to enter an inter-planar portal. I'm level 53 and I have the key...isn't that high enough to enter seb?

That actually sounds like the zones 'status' value is above what your server status is.

Also, I think Augments in general still do not work - unless something has changed lately that I missed. I could not get augs to stick either last time I tried.

Also another place was vexthal. The Scepter of Shadows is the key and it won't let me inside. I think none of the keyed zones work...

So just so you know here's a checklist (just trying to make it easier for you so you don't have to look around in this thread):

Fix Keyed Zones
Look into implementing augments
Spawning zones after Luclin. None of PoP OoW GoD is spawned unfortunately
Get #castspell and #findspell working, maybe you didnt press the Apply Changes button in your DB when youc hanged the status requirement? Just a thought

Hmm cant seem to find an edit button. Another thing I found out was that all of the Distillate of (whatever) don't work. They have 0 charges on them.

Already tried that, doesn't work. There's something wrong in the database for distillates. Gotta change that to fix it. My guess is either the item was set to 0 charges no matter what so that it can't be used or that the spells for the potions aren't implemented, just gotta look in the tables for the potions and see whats funky.

Alucard, you can scribe your own spells. I believe you guys have access to the command #scribespell (level), just put in #scribespell 70 and you'll be set. It's either #scribespell or #scribespells, I forget which. And RFlagg, I'll look into the zerker tomes problem if Krusher ever gets back on and tells me the info to log into the database lol. Right now just find me ingame (my name will probably be Lulriz, just look for the GM online lol) and I'll train all your discs for you.

No, Krusher took it offline because we can't figure out why the server won't load any zones. Something got messed up somehow...I hadn't made any changes to the database yet either which is wierd, stuff just started going funky yesterday.

Alrighty, I updated the database with a backup I had made just yesterday morning, and all accounts and characters should be up and running again. If you find any issues, please tell a GM and we'll look into it.

Ok update: 1 table down about 4 to go, Strake is helping me also so it should go a little bit faster. Hopefully will be up in about an hour or so but won't be for long. We'll just test to make sure new zones are spawned correctly then we'll be taking it back down to add in a few other things.

No, instead we will be implementing a buff bot to handle all your buffing needs. We'll probalby stick one in all the major fighting zones that people use a lot aswell as PoK. We have that in the works right now, shouldn't be long.

Also ETA on the server downtime should be about 10-15 minutes, maybe a little shorter maybe a little longer. I'll post again once it's back up.

I'd suggest fixing the lvl 71-75 skill table too.
when players (of every class) lvl over 70 their skills got back to 0-30
I believe this is because the skill table has not been added for lvl 71-75 yet so it wasnt working.
Anyway is the PoP AA table gonna be added soon? It's a huge improvement on every characters.

The skills table isn't the problem - the skills table goes all the way to 75 for all classes and skills which baffles us. We're working on the issue now.

I like what I've been seeing the last few days on this server. Lots of people online, having a blast. Now that Ancient Coldain weapons have been thoroughly gimped, more character variety is being seen. Maybe we will even see a few Enchanters now that their epic has been made so godly. Nice thinking on the epics.
All the Epic 1.0s have been boosted substantially (except warriors, since 9 out of 10 high levels are already warriors--though leaving dmg so low is pretty harsh--maybe a 1/1 ratio of dmg/delay). Plane of Knowledge is NOW open as well. (even though #zone command is the smart way to travel :) )
It seems that experience has been modified as well to make up for the Ancient Coldain nerf. #search for you epic then #si [id] and you will be 70 in no time.
Would love to see a "coming soon" sticky. Its all good though. Love logging to server screen and seeing 20-30 people on my favorite server. Everyone is VERY helpful here.

I fixed the level cap issue and the skills cap issue. Everyone should now be able to level up to level 75 and all skills should now level properly as well.

Found this server last night, great work guys. I was able to roll a character, and work my way through guk clearing to the ghoul lord and levelling to 45.

Brought back some really great memories, I appreciate it. :)

This server is fantastic. Superfast leveling and great gameplay. If you ever wanted to have a high-end character in Everquest but didn't feel like spending years of frustration dealing with live servers - this is your opportunity. Try it you WILL like it)

But we will have hotzones. We have a few in right now which include Blackburrow, Mistmoore, Emerald Jungle and Plane of Fire. I know I'm missing some but I'm drawing a blank the moment. I just got done revamping BoT to prevent people from pulling entire wings. If you do, you will have a pleasant surprise running after you...namely the boss of the wing who now quads for up to about 3.2k and has roughly 180k HP, summons, enrages, flurrys, and rampages. Have fun! :grin:

seriously it was fun to dress up my char by looking up items. i didnt even realize some of the higher stat items there were all/all with no level restriction. so that got me to think about equipment in general and on my own little bitty server i outfitted my 65 ranger with a set of items that i didnt even know existed.

We're going to start making alot of the bosses (Plains bosses and such) very high hitting and high HP to encourage more grouping and raiding. But mostly it's just a fun server :)

Thats fine by me, the bosses WERE meant to be killed. I just revamped everything in there to prevent people from pulling entire wings, that wasn't meant to happen.

Is there a way to login to the server by bypassing the EQemu server select? I'm new to this and it would make my life so much easier. Quick connect won't work on the Krusher Server (sends me to random servers) and the server select is still causing me to crash 99 percent of the time.

That's a bug on EQEmu's side. One you get a "Survey" screen that pops up, answer it, and you should stop crashing. They still haven't discovered a fix for it yet.

In eqPlayerData.ini, there is this section:

I think that LastServerID is dynamic, like after a LS reboot or something... servers might come in first-come, first-serve, and get a new ID. I had hoped the LoginServer used a unique ID set when we registered our servers, but apparently not. Short answer, there's not much you can do about it unless you know the ID of the server you are quick-connecting to, and change this file first.

This is speculation, because it happens to me all the time as well. I have accounts all over the servers because of this.

Is there a database that's current of the items that are summonable on the server? I stopped playing Live after PoP came out and have just started on this server (frickin awesome btw!). I'm having trouble discerning what's good and what's crap, and I have no idea about all the augments and slots and whatnot yet. I'm just trying to find gear right now. There used to be a weapon database that showed DPS, but for the life of me, I can't find one onw and the EQ and Weapons Database is offline... who knows how long for. All the info I've found was last updated sometime in 2006 most places I go. Allakhazam and other places are semi-helpful, but sorting through the choices is daunting.

Just so it can be known I am posting this,

GMs on this server give out unfair benefits to certain players only. GM favoritism is common on this server. Just something to watch out for.

Ok then...guess that's something Strake did. I haven't handed out any GM items. Only GM event I have done was with Strake and that was a Best of the Best the night all of our zone servers were screwed. The winner got a free level 75 and a "Bag of Platinum Coins" that he sold to a vendor. I'll talk to him about it.

You're playing on a server with nearly everything accessible to you, lots of fun, and a great playerbase not to mention it's well maintained. What is there to complain about?

If "soandso player has something I don't and it's not fair" is the only negative thing that can be said for the server then I think the GM Team has nothing to worry about. Keep up the good work you all!

C'mon, you have GOT to be a smarter person than that.

These are personal servers, so expect to see 'favoritisms' like that. Hell, I give all kinds of great gear to my wife but not my friends. Besides, with such a low server population(relative to EQLive!), how is person X having Uber item Y affecting you in the slightest? (That is a question to be pondered, not replied to on the forums. )

..but the thread states 'Comments here' and I guess Opinions count as Comments... c'est la vie.

Been a while since our last update, so here we go! =p

We're working on the Epic 3.0 quests now. Just have a few more mobs to spawn, make some of the bosses harder, and load all the quest files and we should be ready to go with the Druid 3.0. but so far the only quest done is the druid one. However, in time, we hope to have every class with a 3.0 quest. Of course, we're going to make all the items where you cannot summon them, so we're gonna make you work for em =p

I've been playing on this server for a few days, it's a very laid back server, the couple of GM's I've encountered were very approchable, lot's of people running around, overall a good place to go when you just want to play around ...

Umm...dude...the druid one is a 2.5 not a 3.0 hehe. We'll be implementing 3.0s after we get 2.5s for each class. 2.5s WILL be quite hard, 3.0s even more so. We won't have TOO many long, insane camps that are like 24 hours or something but the encounters we will hope ot make very.....interesting, to sum it up in 1 word. I just got back from vacation so I can restart work on the druid quest now once I catch up with Strake and see if he's done anything with it.

Ok before you guys flood the topic with "What happened to the server!!!???"

I took the server down for about 5 seconds to restart it...now for somereason it won't come back up. Atleast it's not showing for me, same result for anyone else? If not let me know please. I'm getting responses in the SSH tunnel with ./stop and ./start to start/stop the server but the server doesn't seem to be showing up. I'll look into it and hopefully get a fix...

Ok not sure what's going on right now. Maybe it's just me (hopefully it is), if anyone else can not see the server in the serverlist post here please.

I contacted Krusher and he said that the login server to the server is down so the server can't connect to it. The new hosting service the server has been switched to apparently hasn't been working very well. We're trying to get the server up ASAP folks.

*UPDATE*

Server is back up and running. Strake notified me of a glitch where if you skip an ID in a table the server crashes, I went back and checked an ID i had and sure enough it went from 2700036 to 2700038, changed taht to 2700037 and now the server is back up!

Ok good update here.

Druid Epic 2.5 is just about finished! I'm putting the finishing touches on a few things right now, gonna put in the stats on the 2.5 and the halfway weapon and then it should be good to go! I'll post back when its finally complete but expect to see it done by this time tomorrow.

Thinking about playing this server. So i just want to get a few things straight: What is the average population of the server? If it is a very small population, then how is the soloability in the game? Is anything tweaked to address the soloability? ie. rogues can solo? And, say around lvl 50, how much experience is usually gained from a dark blue?

The server is very solo friendly. The XP is approx. 5x the amount of live. The Population fluctuates but is between 6-15 players at a time. However i'm willing bet that once the new content is finished (new content loot is not summonable like the rest) the numbers will rise.

I have solo'ed a Rogue, Monk, Warrior, Ranger, Mage, and Wizard to 75 with no major problems. The players are very friendly and always willing to help, also the GMs are very approachable.

The new 70+ encounters are coming along great so now would be the time to start playing (as i'm not sure if they still plan on kicking down the XP.)

Yea, we may kick down the exp a little bit more. And I'm going to start work on 3 more 70+ encounters very soon. Expect to have more fun in potime A ;) No ETA yet on when they will all be done, but hopefully in the next month. Only reason it would take me a month to make them is they will probably be pretty complicated encounters. Not giving out any hints yet, but think Oartok the Deranged, except maybe bigger.

To respond to making experience slower, that might be a good thing as it would give some sense of achievement to being 75 as anyone who has a few hours to kill can make it to 75 even if they haven't played EQ for years. I like running through guk and mistmoore and other old mid level zones and I find myself constantly making new characters so I can run through those zones again. However, those characters all level up to 75 so quickly that I never get my fill. Still, the fact remains that grinding xp isn't fun and it'd be best if there was some balance between xp being slow enough so that you aren't level 50 within 30 minutes of making a character, but you also weren't left grinding out AA's in potimea. I think mobs can be set to give AA when they are killed from an early Oarlok test, so perhaps revamping a zone so that mobs give increased AA only xp would solve that issue. I'm not completely sure if you can differentiate between AA and regular xp, however, but the finer details I'll leave to the GMs and developers. On the list of things in the works I saw revamping crushbone, that sort of worries me because I love crushbone, but if the mobs were leveled up and I could get my 75s some AA camping a reasonably difficult D'Vinn I'd enjoy that much more than tearing the zone apart as a level 6 with 4k hp and a mage epic pet.

I've also heard talk about nerfing or taking away the sword of truth, and I think thats a good idea. The sword is overpowered and it unbalances DPS. It'd be nice to not see monks or casters running around with gigantic black swords. Some people might complain, but like the prayers nerf it will lead to better class balance when taking down big mobs, which is what the new content is being developed for anyways.

Just some input, besides that, the server is great and I look forward to seeing the new developments in the near future so keep up the good work.

Yesterday there was about an hour we lost eqemulator.net connectivity. My server did reconnect when it came back up, though I am not sure if it ever showed up on the Loginserver (might explain why Buju was the only one on this morning ~grin~).

Just got back in after doing real life stuff for a couple of months. (it happens). Pretty exciting that level cap is now 85. Any new zones open where stuff will be blue at or near that level? Any new gear or spells? Thanks for info. Gonna try and log back in after the World Series :).

hey guys, its been a long time since i've messed around with private servers, and i really want to play on Krusher's. I looked on the eqemu "for players" side, and i can't go to the play guide to find out again how to connect to the server. i checked out the faq with no luck, and krushers faq with no luck as how to connect to the server... can someone please help me out? It'd be much appreciated :)

also, do i have to have titanium installed? i forget what mines called that i have installed, but i think its still the latest bundle you can buy.. will that make it not work? thanks in advance guys.

Hey all, Im looking for some XP advice. I boxing a cleric/warrior combo. I got both of them to lvl 53. the XP was superfast which i like. I want to get to higher end so i can get involved in some of the higher end encounters on this server. I lvled up to 53 from FOB to Dawnshroud. I am looking for a new place to move to get to 65 so i can head to BOT. any suggestions? you can contact me here of in game under the names dinar or ghinar.

Guys, a couple days in and I have a couple questions and a couple statements.

Statements:

I love this server. It's fast, responsive, and easy to get onto and started playing quickly.

All the annoying things about old eq are gone, (corpse retrieval comes to mind)... and granted, the summon abilities on this server trivialize the item race (to a point eh) that's kinda cool, since now you can just have fun playing, rather than camping and worrying about the bazaar..

Questions:

Is there indeed a spellbot in popular zones, as was mentioned in an older post? If so, what zones?

Are there hot zones enabled currently, and if so, what are they?

Regarding keying for uber zones (plane of time, etc) how does that work now?

All you need to do is target yourself and type "#scribespells 70" without quotes.

As to my knowledge there are no hotzones, but if you group with other people and everyone is killing, I do not see any reduction in xp.

Regarding keying for uber zones (plane of time, etc) how does that work now?

There is no keys/flags required for zones. You just need to know the zone short name to get into it. IE. Plane of time is "potimea" for the non agressive time, and "potimeb" for the gods area. Though Plane of Time is broken because of no clickie zones you can kill Innorruk (he's kinda mean.)

What i meant was a bot to CAST spells, not scribe them. Ie the local cleric guild's support chapter #47. Clarity for casters, hp buffs and ac buffs for all, etc. just wondered :) this IS Krusher's!

When I try to log in on a few of my accounts it says that they have been banned. It might be because I went afk for a while and let my pets kill in Karnor's. If that is why, I apologize, I did not know it was against server rules and it won't happen again. If it was for some other reason, I would just like to know why. I realize this post may be in the incorrect thread.

2.The exp seems pretty fast. The 50s seem kinda slow but nothing like live. Melee level faster than casters but all of them fairly easy to level.

3.I box 2 characters at a time but I have no idea of a limit on it.

4. Not too many raid encounters since most things can be soloed depending on how much time you wish to invest in killing something, Only things I can think of off hand that can't be soloed effectively or at all is Cazic Thule,the golems in Fear(Death Touch),the Sleeper, and maybe Klandicar. AoW,Trak,Vindi,and mobs such as this can be soloed

I'm actually playing there atm. 76 monk and 59 cleric.

my monk's exp was really fast - pulled potactics and AEed which im not too sure how we did it. we had a warrior tho - are warriors bugged or something?

I tried doing that on my monk to level my priest but couldnt handle the damage from the mobs

for raids stuff was pretty impressed so far. here's what I think is working and whats not working (i.e they die in a couple of hits)

Also - whats The God of War in Kael - anyone tried? I didnt dare to bother him

Do melee disciplines (combat abilities, whatever they're calling them these days) work on Krusher's, or is there a unique way of obtaining them? I was on the server a bit today and every warrior class trainer (when PoK didn't work, I tried Ak'Anon as a gnome warrior) I gave tomes to... just ate them.

Some level 70 warrior was really nice, he pulled the whole zone to which I AE-ed it and got like 10 levels a pull. really fast :)

Played EQ from 2000 to 2004 and saw thru many expansions the hard way (100+ days /played)

I've been following this thread alot and it kinda rekindle my interest in checking it out - I'm going to buy a copy of EQ titanium tonight hence some questions

1) do you guys have a website so I can read up on how to connect?

2) Hows the exp rate now? I know this is a non legit server so im guessing it should be really fast and I can summon all the stuff i need to level

3) How many chars can you box at once - any limit?

4) Most importantly - are they any raid encounters? Not really looking for Uqua type bosses or Quam by maybe is there Trakanon, Avatar of War, North ToV to explore etc?

Appreciate any feedback from the players or the opers!

The EXP rate was quite fast when last I played, which has been a second or two.

As far as I know, boxing from the same account seems buggy, but then again you can make multiple accounts so that should fix that.

Most scripted events were not working when I last played. That is a lot of work for these guys who do this out of their spare time.

On another note, I am back playing again so look for me!

yup Krusher's is the only server i'll play on. Just the fact that you can solo almost all your levels is awsome, combined w/ a bit of gm commands adds more to the mix.:D

Just wanted to point out a few small things. In most zones most mobs that are "ready to attack" are instead regarded as "indifferently" and wont attack on sight. also, mobs that should roam, don't and just sit like ducks lol. Ex. is Dranik Scar. It just makes it a bit more dangerous and fun and a bit similar to live server.

This isn't something serious but if you have any free time would be awsome.

We hadn't played in awhile and came back and were looking for your server and were sad to see it wasn't around.
