Hi guys,
I have been searching the forums for a week and I cannot find anything close to my error. I followed the wiki and the pdf pretty closely.
Which leaves me to believe I left out a step or is using xp for a server part of the problem.

[07.11. - 16:30:00] Starting Log: logs/eqemu_debug_world_0440.log
[07.11. - 16:30:00] [WORLD__INIT] Loading server configuration..
[07.11. - 16:30:00] [WORLD__INIT_ERR] Loading server configuration failed. in the eqemu folder "Log".
This happens everytime I start the emu.

I am using:
7.0-992 database
MySql 5.0.37
ActivePerl 5.8.7.813
WinCVS2_1_1
under Windows XP Pro.

<?xml version="1.0">
<server>
<world>
<shortname>Tempest</shortname>
<longname>Tempest</longname>

<!-- only specify these two if you really think you need to. -->
<address>192.168.1.113</address>
<localaddress>127.0.0.1</localaddress>

<!-- loginserver information -->
<loginserver>
<host>eqemulator.net</host>
<port>5998</port>
<account></account>
<password></password>
</loginserver>

<!-- Sets the shared key used by zone/launcher to connect to world -->
<key>some long random string</key>

<!-- Enable and set the port for the HTTP service. -->
<http port="9080" enabled="true" mimefile="mime.types" />
</world>

<!-- Database configuration, replaces db.ini. -- >
<database>
<host>localhost</host>
<port>3306</port>
<username>root</username>
<password></password>
<db>peq</db>
</database>
</server>

Thanks,
Sal

Here you are set up like your going to play locally, and only on your server (emu and client)

<!-- only specify these two if you really think you need to. -->
<address>192.168.1.113</address>
<localaddress>127.0.0.1</localaddress>

Here you are set up for WAN play (eqemulator login server)

<!-- loginserver information -->
<loginserver>
<host>eqemulator.net</host>
<port>5998</port>
<account></account>
<password></password>
</loginserver>

Make the 192 address your public IP, and change the 127 to your 192 address, and see if that helps. This is assuming that your not going to use minilogin.

and don't forget a db password (though I think you left it off intentionally for the post heh)

The address shoudnt matter at your point, as the emu simply isnt loading up your config files it looks like. Points to something else. The only thing I can recommend is that you double check to make sure your eqemu_config.xml file is in its proper place and that you edited that one instead of the eqemu_config.xml.full file.

Thanks for the info, I could not get it to work. So what I did is redownload the database and swap some files and totally rewrote the Eqemu_config file.
And it works great! Must have been some small error in my code that I could not see.

Thanks again!
