Login error

I just installed EQ Platinum (it's all I could find) and I got an error that reads


"The login server is not allowing connections. This is most likely due to a server patch that currently in progress. Please try again later."

What'd I do wrong? Is it the fact that I have platinum installed? Would uninstalling and only installing EQ without the expanssions found in Platinum work? Or is are the servers down for maitnance?

Er, did you miss all the posts about Titanium only? It's not about the expansion packs, it's the client version. Check e-bay.

to quickly cut to the chase:

your only option is to run Titanium. period. as many posters have indicated, its available on Ebay, and possibly at other etailers.

you might get flamed on this because in addition to being posted in RED at the top of the forum, its easily discoverable via "Search" in many, many, many (did i mention many?) posts.
