I posted in the Linux thread as well...I have a server set up and hosted...looking for someone who wants to put a server online. I have never configured an EQ Emu server from the ground up and would like some help...
I can configure the server to run either Red Hat ES 4 or Windows Server '03

Just curious.... but have you even attempted to set it up yourself?

Nope, I don't have the time or patience to set it up...unless it has gotten a lot easier these days.
I might give it a shot over the weekend just to see...
I assumed I could provide a stable public server at no charge to anyone and have some community help but if thats too much to ask just say so

You need to not double post for starters -
Then, you need to have a little knowledge about what you're doing. All of us here can easily set up a server and if anyone has a problem, someone will try and help - but you can expect it all on a "silver platter" - you need to make an effort too.
If not, then we will not miss you, there are plenty of good, "free" servers already available.

I didn't flat out copy my post just to get more exposure - I didn't know which platform would be more popular to easier to configure a server on so I wanted to ask each segment of the forum.

Didn't say I wanted it on a silver platter, I am more than willing to help. Sometimes there are those who like to get their hands dirty per say and I wanted to see if someone wanted a project.

Was not trying to imply that I have something you cannot find elsewhere, but from my experience with emulator servers they never stay up long due to lack of funding or some other related reason.

Riddle me this and I'll give it a go:
Is setting up an EQ Emu server under Windows significantly easier? And which version of EQ do I need to pick up from the store? Anniversary edition or the Titanium edition?

Okay then cool. If you have a host and its free, then thats mighty nice of you to offer.
Just kinda sounded like you wanted someone to setup a server FOR you there for a second lol.
Whats the host stats?

Titanium and yes, I got a server up & running in < 1 hour. The code & DBs now a days are pretty stable and less prone to odd errors than EQEmu circa 3 years ago.

Mr ckeck, I don't want to bump heads with you over this anymore - you're drilling me with the most commonly asked questions in these forums - It appears you haven't done any research at all by posting the most asked question of them all: "Should I buy Titanium?"
A little humility will take you a long way. This thread is locked, and hopefully, we'll leave it at that.
