Ok got another problem that after much searching I can not find and answer for. Everytime I go to use a clickable item, the cast does not complete. It hangs, has even caused zone.exe to crash. Also seems to happen with regular spells as well. Anyone have any idea on it?

Update on this... I have tried replacing the spells txt in eqemu, did a complete re-install of the database, using peq_ykesha-complete. I can log in. I can zone. just can't mem, cast, use item spells. nothing... npc's like the soulbinder won't cast either. I am not getting errors... I just don't get it.. Was using an OLD database before and the spells and such worked...

only thing I have to ask is what "client" are you using? As I am not seeing this with the old 6.2 client and the newest build.

Not sure why you can't mem, but everything else sounds like you have an item with a focus effect equipped and that's the cause of it. When the new items table came down, Sony must have changed something regarding high end focus effect items, and EQEmu doesn't have a clue on how to use the changed columns. This can cause your client to crash when casting a spell (Soulbinders are effected because technically, you are the one casting the spell) or the whole zone can crash. TGC doesn't have this problem with its players and we're up to Ykesha, so the items in question are at least beyond that.
The quick solution is to not equip items (past Ykesha anyway) that have a focus effect on them.
The real solution is to 1. Find out a few examples of items that cause this and 2. Compare what fields changed between the old items database and the new and revert them back for the select items. Hopefully, all of the items were changed in the same way, so a simple query or two should fix them all.
I've been meaning to do this, but haven't found time. When I do get around to doing it, I'll post the solution here, and of course it will also be in the PEQ database on CVS.
