Here's the rest of the boats (http://www.nahunta.org/~angelox/files/MoreBoats.sql.tar.gz) i had recently added to my old database. Tested it with the PEQ and didn't cross anywhere.
This will make Timorous look like the "busy boating channel" it was-boats will run to and from OT, NRO, Timorous, Butcher. Also Iceclad- Oasis , if you start bumping off all those "transporters", players will actually have to run to Oasis, grab the barrel-barge, then zone to Iceclad and use the viking-boat there to get to the main docks.
OOT boat is already there, but still needs work before the transporter npcs can get bumped (need to work out something looks reasonable for zoning to butcher and to Freeport.
Also, I need to commit the "zoner pls" before you bump the transporters. I'll try and do that during the day.

The boats are solid now? I did some testing and was able to get the boats solid, but it only works with one texture (default texture for gender 0), and it's a really big boat, which wouldn't work for places like the OOT sister island dock.

Just curious before I throw this on the dev server.

I'd like to install this but I have no idea how. :( Could I get some help?

The SQL will probably insert in anyones database - just make sure you back-up first.
It's already installed in the PEQ DB, and I already have more work there aside from this SQL . So most boatwork is in PEQ database now.
Like I said, what ever boats are solid, are usable, "fall through" boats will port you if you walk into them.
I wanted the original boats used, and didn't matter what condition.

Angelox, could please post a list of specificly which boats are solid?
like race/zone etc?

also - does boat "solidity" requres the changes you made to the DB?

thank you

I just used what was there - the Sirens Bane and all its "look-a likes" (Sea King,Golden Maiden, etc) are "fall through". the FV boat (Maidens Voyage) has only the ramp leading up to the boat solid. All other boats are solid; barrel-skiffs (all skiffs), Bloated Belly, Etc.
Icebreaker (Iceclad ship) was my favorite - it is solid, and since it doesn't zone, I was able to re-create it with its full route.

I got it, thank you Angelox.
In other words with exeption of Icebraker , all the larger ships (from OOT and Eruds Sea) are non solid, but all the small things (like rafts) are.

What is Bloated Belly? I don't rememeber that one...

Well, I finally got a system for ships up an running, or I should say "we" because without Qadar, I would have never done it.
We already have a working/ridable boat from butcher > oot > freporte, and currently building the ride back to butcher, tweaking everything as we go.
These boats will run "on schedule" regardless of zone status (dynamic or static), so zoning with dynamic zones will work just as well, and everything stays in sync (no "outside night/day scripts" this time :) ).
The system it self will work with the current EqEmu source, will adapt to any database, and so far is fail proof. We have customized some things to look better, but not really needed.
Hopefully, We'll have it all done withing a few weeks, and posted in the new AX_CLASSIC database for download.

Has there been any further development on this? I've installed the 0.7.0-1110a Server Pack version for PEQ, and I've tried testing the Freeport/BB boat. The one in Freeport seems to go around the zone, and the pathing is wrong. Plus it isn't solid, and I can't ride on it.

I've also tried Les' installer for the Angelox Classic Database, but there are no boats coming at all.

I really miss boats, and I would love to have a working version for PEQ.
