I have done a search btu so far found no answer

has any body found a custom UI that works with eqemu ?

i play on the kmra server if that makes any difference,

I have tried several and so far they all either crash eq or do nothing at all.

toying with the idea of trying to make my own, but well its not soemthign i have ever done. the main thing i want really is % on the hp / exp bars etc and mana numbers etc

I had the same question, thanks!

I'm willing to figure out how to tweak existing UI parts if someone could explain what part of the XML files are failing with the client discrepancies between Titanium and live.

Or, as the original poster suggested, if you have any interface parts that work, send a link and I'll try to figure out why they do and others don't.

All the best,

D.

I have been using one called Nemesis for sometime with EqEmu now. Here is a link to it on EqInterface http://www.eqinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4907

I am using an older version of it than what is posted, if you are unable to use the newer version let me know and I will post the version I have for download.

best way to make a custom UI work with EQEMU is to make your own....

xml is pretty easy with a little common sense, best thing to do is take it one window at a time and you can get the exact thing you need or want... like having the most screen space with the most useful info for you to know, and being able to get to your inventory and clickies fast... seeing all your stats and exp bars etc etc etc.....

to change the look(skin) of the interface heres some files you will need to replace....windowspiecesXX.tga(XX represents a #) windowbg_XX.tga(XX representing light and dark). Then add your windows....be wary that windows can stand alone and not require additional editing of EQUIAnimations.xml... you can edit that if you want but if you dont know much about it its a hard thing. Experiment and doodle with this a little bit. When EQ crashes open your "UIErrors.txt" file and it will tell you the issue of the problem. try to use text editors with numbered lines so you can fix these errors.

PM if you need help i will try my best to help.
