I can get in fine on my server. but I don't see anyone getting past the char selection screen.
also when i try to log in another character on seperate instance of EQ the logged in char gets booted. this is especially when they are in the same zone. after one booting the other for a while generally then both and log in fine eventually. I got 8 all logged in at once on same account after that.
I have the right ports open on router, the DB is PEQ seems to be installed fine, I have 5 zones runnning. PC is Windows XP, dual core Conroe, 2 gig of ram. no special software running like windows firewall is off.
R.
Defender server.

Make sure that you have all of the ports open you need. This sounds like it's similar to a problem I had during my setup a year ago, in which all the ports were configured correctly to allow the pass-through except for the ones for the individual zones. Take a look at your server window when it launches and look at the ports that it says each individual zone is using; is that range opened properly?

I am seeing below 1070, 1078, 1080 etc.
I thought ports to open are 7000-7500 and 9000. Is this not correct??
